About Lisa Shaw
When I owned a small business, I was driven to do everything I could to help my business thrive. I researched for the best location, set business hours to be convenient for my customers, provided excellent customer service and much more. Cyber is a business risk, and managing ever-present and relentless cyber risks correctly will help your business thrive.
Managing your cyber risk is a lot like managing your health. If you’re like me, occasionally I’ll schedule a well-patient exam. Everything seems fine, but I don’t want to take any chances preventable illness is creeping in undetected. Maybe your business is doing well. However, cyber threats can creep in undetected, just like disease, and undermine all the hard work you’ve put into making your business successful.
I understand the challenges of running a successful business. One of the most important lessons I learned as a small business owner was that I couldn’t be good at everything it took to really take my business to the next level. I tried for a while, but eventually I reached out for help with marketing, hired an accountant and got help negotiating my lease.
Instead of a weakness, I began to view it as a strength on my part, to accept the things I wasn’t skilled at and hire the help I needed for my business. Because the threats are ever present and always evolving, a trained cyber professional is necessary to correctly identify and manage your businesses’ cyber risks.
With 20 plus years of experience across a multitude of different industries, we work with you to customize a cyber strategy that makes sense for your business.
This is how it’s done:
1. You complete our Cyber Risk Analysis, which will identify your top cyber risks.
2. Because not every business is the same, we use the information you’ve provided to customize a Cyber Risk Road Map, specific to your business.
3. Together, we implement the agreed upon action plan.
A success story? Honestly, every company we’ve worked with that has addressed their cyber risks BEFORE a cyber breach occurs. Remember, it’s always best to get a home security system BEFORE you’ve been burglarized, not after!
My mission and purpose is to help connect you with a cyber security professional that will guide you in making informed decisions about how to correctly manage your cyber risks and go forward with confidence that you are protecting your data, assets, business partners, customers, and employees in a most responsible way. I’d be so pleased to speak with you, at your convenience.
